End to End – 365 days to walk/run 874 miles.

Warboys Witches Netball Club switched sports during lockdown to take on an incredible team challenge. The Witches are attempting to cover a distance of 874 miles on foot. That’s Land’s End to John O’ Groats!

Their ‘End to End’ challenge is well underway and the Witches aim to complete their challenge in 365 days. Some of the team have completed the distance already. Jo Brett Orchard walked the 874 miles in just 150 days! On average Jo walked 5.86 miles a day, with her longest walk being 20 miles.

With Covid-19 bringing a pause to many team sports, Warboys Witches Netball Club set their sights on a fundraising challenge they could all take part in.

The Witches decided to take this opportunity to raise money for a charity close to the heart of their sponsor, Jon Orchard at Local Buzz Marketing. The charity is Dallaglio RugbyWorks. So far they have raised over £1,000. A big well done to the whole team taking part in the event. Good luck and keep going!
