Property Market Update: March 2021
March 1, 2021

In my last monthly news update, I reported how extremely busy our offices had been throughout the second half of the year, and how things did not look like slowing down approaching December.

I can now confirm one of our busiest Decembers since the company was established in 1990 with twice the number of properties coming to the market and over twice the number of sales agreed (subject to contract) compared to the same month in 2019.

Like many industries, we found our staff operating in an unusual environment, something we have never experienced before and hopefully will never experience again. Bearing in mind the increase in workload, we feel it fitting that on behalf of the directors we take this opportunity to thank all staff for their hard work, dedication and professionalism throughout these difficult times.

Although the market has levelled off slightly since the start of the new year, due mainly to the announcement of a second lockdown in January, sales figures have remained at an encouragingly high level.

With spring just around the corner, we anticipate sales levels to continue and therefore would advise anyone considering ‘making that move’ to contact the

Huntingdon or Kimbolton office for a free, no-obligation market appraisal of their property.
