Films: Upcoming Films We Are Buzzing For!
March 1, 2020

Being only three months into 2020, we have already seen a lot of amazing movies premiere in the cinema – from The Grudge to Bad Boys for Life. The buzz continues into March and April with these awesome upcoming films releasing into cinemas…

A Quiet Place Part II / 20th March, 2020

We are delighted to see this hit horror release a sequel. Following the nail-biting events of The Quiet Place where the Abbott family is forced to live in absolute silence after a worldwide apocalyptic outbreak of monsters with ultra-sensitive hearing. The family must now face the terrors of the outside world, venture into the unknown and survive from further threats than the monsters.

Whilst the trailer reveals as much noise as the first film makes, this is one of the most anticipated horror film releases of the year. Starring original characters Emily Blunt and Noah Jupe, as well as Peaky Blinders star Cillian Murphy and Marvel star Djimon Hounsou. We would definitely recommend this film as a must-see!

Mulan / 27th March, 2020

As a part of Disney’s brilliant plan to create live-action remakes of the classic films, it looks like Mulan is next in line. Starring Yifei Liu as the legendary Chinese princess, Mulan disguises herself as a man to serve in the Imperial army, to step in and take place of her ailing father. Join her on her testing journey in cinemas this March.
We are so excited for this remake of a strong, inspiring princess! However, asides from the animation to live-action transformation, a huge difference in the 1998 film is the remake will not be featuring beloved Mushu the talking dragon out of respect of the original.

No Time To Die / 2nd April, 2020

Daniel Craig returns as James Bond for the fifth time in this spectacular film franchise. Following the
events of Spectre (2015), Bond’s retirement from the active service is short-lived as he is disturbed by an old friend from the CIA, Felix Leiter, who is asking for help. This quest leads the spy onto the trail
of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology. Calling all Bond fans! Catch the latest film out in cinemas this April.

Antlers / 17th April, 2020

Keri Russell and Jesse Plemons star in this supernatural thriller about a small-town, kind-hearted teacher who starts to worry about one of her students. After confiding in her sheriff brother they both discover the student
is harbouring a terrifying and supernatural being in his attic with dangerous consequences. This unique, waking-nightmare concept plot has caught our eye as the trailer releases so little yet so much. Of course, there’s a huge chance there’s more to the story than the trailer is letting on, we shall find out in cinemas this April!

Black Widow / May 1st, 2020

If you’re still not ready to let go of Marvel’s favourite superheroes, the Avengers, then get ready for the well-anticipated Black Widow solo adventure. While this is probably goodbye for Natasha Romanoff in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it’s also the first stop on the long, exciting road that introduces us to Marvel Phase 4.

The two trailers that have been released reveal to us that this movie is set before Infinity War, where
Nat returns to what looks like her Black Widow ‘family’. While the plot hasn’t been truly disclosed, they look to be battling it out with Taskmaster as she traces the murky history of her formative years. After all, we’ve all seen what happens in Endgame, so this is at least one chapter of our favourite superheroes we can close.
