With Easter being the big event this month we’ve found lots of fun family activities to enjoy!

Chippenham Park Events,
Easter Egg Hunt

Collect one of each colour wooden bunny (blue, red and yellow) then take them to the kitchen garden to collect your chocolate egg! Three golden bunnies will be hidden around the gardens – the lucky finders of these will receive an extra special reward! Keep your eyes peeled!

Please note: There will be no on-the-day entry without pre-purchased tickets.

Easter Egg Hunt and Easter
Bonnet Competition

An Easter Egg hunt for just £1 and a chocolate prize for every egg hunter!(Start any time between 10am – 3pm) Find the numbered Easter Egg pictures hidden around the site and write down which part of the museum each egg picture is in against the same number on the supplied sheet.

Easter Bonnet competition (Free – *Only on Sunday 9th). Make an Easter Bonnet and bring it to the museum on Easter Sunday, between 10am and 2pm. Judging will take place at 2pm. There will then be a winner announced from two categories, one for adults and one for children, the winners will receive a chocolate prize each.

Bunny Tales

Come and join the Cambridge Central Library for an hour of bunny-related stories and a craft to celebrate Easter and spring.

This event is for children 3+ and takes place in the children’s library of Cambridge Central Library, which is fully wheelchair accessible.

Please note: Both children and adults require one ticket per person. Children must always be accompanied by an adult.

Easter Adventure Trail
at Anglesey Abbey

Have lots of family fun as you head off onto the Easter Adventure Trail at the beautiful Anglesey Abbey in Cambridge. Children can enjoy a world of adventures inspired by the magic of books, and find activities all along the trail.

The trail takes place from 9.30am each day, with the last entry to the trail at 3.30pm, so go along and explore the beautiful gardens of Anglesey Abbey.

The price of the trail is £3 per child and that includes a trail map, a pencil and a chocolate egg at the end. Simply pick up your trail from the Easter Egg tent located near to the Visitor Centre.

Pre-booking is essential.

Audley End, Easter Special 2023

Celebrate Easter with a fun-filled family adventure on a miniature train through the enchanted Audley End woods. Look out for little bunnies, spring chicks, and colourful eggs with the I Spy sheet, and meet Alice and the Easter Bunny who will give each child a special gift.

Enjoy craft-making activities, a Mad Hatter story-telling session, and a walk through the Enchanted Fairy and Elf homes. Book tickets in advance to enjoy the train ride, Fairy & Elf walk, craft-making, interactive show, adventure play area, nature corner, and a gift for every child.

Easter Egg Hunts at Wimpole Estate

Make your way along the trail and find nature-inspired activities for the whole family.

For just £3 per child, the trail includes a trail map, pencil, and a choice of either a dairy or vegan and Free From chocolate egg at the end, both made from Rainforest Alliance Certified cocoa.

Botanic Gardens,
The Enchanted Egg Trail

Can you crack the code of the enchanted egg and claim your Easter prize?

The secrets are hidden in the plants and places of the Garden. To join in the fun, pick up a free trail booklet on your way into the Garden and set off on your springtime adventure. Outdoor fun for all ages.

Children must be accompanied at all times. Standard Garden admission applies for accompanying adults.

‘Let’s Go Punting’ Easter Punt & Hunt

Easter Scavenger Hunt & Activity Booklets are available when booking either a private or shared Cambridge Punting Tour with Let’s Go Punting. Booklets include Easter-themed activities to complete during your punting tour, a city centre scavenger hunt and a sweet treat to collect along the way.
