With no immediate sign of the housing market slowing down and with demand still outstripping supply, it is important that buyers know what to expect when it comes to making an offer, whether you are a cash buyer or you require a mortgage.

If you are purchasing with a mortgage, make sure you are absolutely clear as to how much you can afford, the mortgage market is moving fast, so it is important you seek professional advice, we recommend you speak to an independent financial adviser who has access to the whole financial market.

Once you have chosen the home you want to buy, don’t delay, be swift and make your offer sooner rather than later, homes are selling quickly in today’s market. Don’t make your offer too low, as this is likely to frustrate the seller and they may consider it offensive.
